Jim’s work background proved that he would be versatile and adapt to the circumstances that we encounter in Aspen, with the mountains, the severe weather, limited talented craftsmen, distinguished owners, and exacting standards with respect to the design teams, customers and finished products.

Jim collaborated very closely with the Owners and Michael Fuller, the Architect. With his leadership and skills with estimating and value engineering they developed all the architectural details that maintained the overall design intent of each project while keeping the Owner’s Budget achievable. All projects were built on budget and on schedule.

All the interior work was a design in progress. Throughout the whole project Jim had weekly design meetings on site with the Architects and Interior Designers. After the first year, my wife, Sharon, asked Jim to run the meetings without us and to make sure that critical design decisions would be presented to us. He did a fantastic job, and we were very pleased with the results.

Jim was professional and worked closely with our team on design, pre-estimating construction costs and scheduling. I and our Tribe highly recommend Jim for any building project. He has the expertise, organization, and the attention to detail that are critical for the success of all projects he engages in.

Jim has been easy to work with and I have found him to be very knowledgeable about how to program and manage a project for maximum efficiency and productivity. He also has managed to ensure that the quality of workmanship of all participants was expertly completed and on time.

Jim did a wonderful job! He is hard-working, easy to get along with and did an excellent job finding materials. He was always easy to reach and did outstanding work of providing weekly updates on the progress of the project along with supporting photographs.

As the architect of the project, we expected the highest level of quality and attention during its construction. Jim met and exceeded those expectations. In addition to overseeing the construction, he was able to find reliable sources of special materials such as the Ohia Logs used to support the roof structure, as well as unique wood flooring. In short, I highly recommend Jim.
